Dean’s Welcome Note
It is always a special privilege to be able to celebrate the achievements of our students in a public forum, at the culmination of their undergraduate studies and their transition to professional life. If you are looking to engage a talented creative professional for a particular role or project, or buy or commission work, then I encourage you to contact the designers, artists, makers and other creatives whose work is gathered here.
The site features incredible work by our 2020 graduates across over thirty undergraduate programmes in the Faculties of Arts & Creative Industries and Science & Technology at our London campus, and from our campus in Dubai. The students’ technical skills and creative flair, that will be evident to you, have been honed in a practice-led culture that values diversity, is international in outlook and thrives on collaboration. Many have already worked on live briefs and in competitive contexts and all have had the opportunity to work independently and with others in a multi-disciplinary environment.
The work that you see here was completed during the COVID 19 lockdown period, when our University facilities and studios, like so many across the world, were forced to close. I am so proud of all students and staff who have demonstrated their resilience, adaptability and creativity in facing the future with a determination to succeed. There are many uncertainties ahead and I wish all our skilled and creative graduates every success in creating a brighter and better world for us all.
