BA Animation
Animation at Middlesex is an exciting multi-disciplinary programme, embracing all aspects of animated filmmaking. Students are taught by BAFTA winning animators who nurture and encourage them to develop as animators, designers and directors. Recent graduates have been busy working on music videos, commercials, feature films such as Wes Anderson's Isle of Dogs and Klaus and the Mr Bean TV series.
Students explore a broad range of practice including classical character animation, stop motion, 2D & 3D computer animation, sound design, motion graphics and even painting on 16mm film. Our robust industry connections facilitate internships, studio visits and inspirational talks from animation professionals and invaluable experience is gained from working on collaborative projects for real clients such as theatres and museums, helping students develop the essential skills and knowledge that will prepare them for a successful career in animation.
