Theatre Arts at Middlesex had a long tradition of shaping the theatre industry through our practice-led teaching of theatre as a dynamic and collaborative art. Our students develop a broad portfolio of skills to emerge as innovative practitioners, collectives and artists capable of reimagining how theatre can be made and seen.
Theatre Arts students have the opportunity to experience a wide range of theatre-making skills, spanning across the disciplines of performance, design, technical theatre, directing, production and critical thinking skills. This allows students to develop a broad understanding of theatre-making in context. Collaborative, student-led project work is at the forefront of our teaching, equipping graduates with the skills and confidence to enter industry as thoughtful, creative and adaptable practitioners.
