BA English

BA English students at Middlesex discover how Language works, explore English Literature and create their own texts. This course explores English everywhere: in novels, theatre, poetry, everyday and professional conversations, media texts, non-verbal communication and, of course, in our students’ own writing. Our students have plenty of opportunities to put their distinctive professional communication, creative, and critical skills into practice. They produce their own fiction and non-fiction texts in different styles, engage in critical and theoretical debates, and develop their own investigations.
