Our programmes in Robotics and Mechatronics promote practice-lead teaching and learning approaches, preparing our graduates as competent engineers ready to contribute to any organisation they join from day one. Their academic skills along with high technical skills and competencies make them highly sought-after by industry.
All our engineering programmes are supported by strategic industry partnerships with companies such as Siemens, Festo and National Instruments, who provide access to up-to-date industry standard equipment for our facilities and access to valuable support from practicing engineers from those partners. We also benefit from being one of the first four universities to take part in the Connected Curriculum project lead by Siemens and Festo, ensuring that our programmes are in tune with industry practices and standards in these fast developing fields.
All our engineering programmes are fully accredited by the Institution of Engineering Designers, enabling our graduates to progress onto their chosen careers as Chartered Engineers.More Information
