A Creative Writing and Journalism course offers the unique experience of combining both subjects, so students develop skills as a writer across different styles, genre and technology. They learn how to critically examine different types of content and practices, and produce industry-standard multimodal and digital journalism, long form pieces, stage and screen plays, fiction and non-fiction, including storytelling for games. As part of North London Story Festival, students have put their skills to practice by organising events, creating promo materials, and interviewing journalists and writers. They have also undergone placements with the BBC, ITV, London Live, and The Guardian.
