MA Interiors (Architecture and Design) alumni have gone on to develop successful careers with industry leaders on an international stage, set up individual practice or continued their academic careers through PHD study. MA Interiors (Architecture and Design) students redefine what constitutes the ‘interior’. The programme places emphasis on processing a personal design approach, based on individual interests, through the compilation of three volumes: enquiry, practice and proposal. Each sequential stage creating a platform to investigate, capture information, critically reflect and propose new strategies and ideas that question the interiors we inhabit. Exploratory narratives and creative investigations encourage experimentation and critical evaluation in the generation of new design thinking. Students benefit from industry-led projects, masterclasses and talks from leading practitioners, as well as the expertise of lecturers and technical instructors who work in industry.
