Our MA Theatre Arts is flexibly-designed to give students the opportunity to specialise in and push the boundaries of a chosen practice within a theatre arts framing. The student-practitioner is at the heart and helm of their studies through process-driven learning complemented by individualised, negotiated assessments. The inherent interdisciplinary nature of theatre is reflected in the expertise of the academic team and visiting artists who deliver the programme, encompassing immersive, installation and interactive practice, digital and material scenography, puppetry, applied theatre, live art, stand-up, solo performance, physical theatres and writing for performance. Our students interact with London’s creative networks through industry visits and observations, alongside professional placements, embedded within learning. This MA open doors to employment in the arts sector or to doctoral study, equipping graduates with skills that transfer to diverse professional and academic contexts for practice, including performance, design, directing, writing, arts administration, education and socially-engaged work.
